We've been to most of the caves in the Black Hills and this is one of the least interesting. The tour guide was great but there really isn't a lot to see as far as formations in the cave.More

Thank you for your input. Black Hills Caverns has our Adventure Tour, all three levels of the cave and 28 different formations and our Crystal Tour, which is the main level, with no stairs which only shows 8 formations. I am sorry you did not...More

The Black Hills Caverns is a 1 hour long walking tour and we considered it was just average. There wasn't much of a variety to see and the tour guide wasn't very informative. We thought it wasn't value for money.

Hi, This is Kathy with the Cave. I am wondering if you took our Crystal or Adventure Tour? Our goal is always a safe and education experience in our natural cave.

Went on the 1 hour tour, Blake was a very good guide. I knew there were 120 stairs, but it was also alot of uphill and uneven surfaces which made it more challenging than i expected.

The cave was pretty neat and I don't think that it was too overpriced. I would classify this as an average attraction. It is not a strenuous tour but does require you do duck almost constantly if you are of average height. The only negative...More
