Everybody in the Black Hills grew up visiting this place, and it luckily hasn't changed. The dinos are fantastic, I love the hand-laid rock stairs, and the view from the top can't be beat!!

Visited with wife and kids aged 2,5,8,12. Saw this in some sort of travel brochure. It's free and takes about 30 minutes of your time so something to do as a filler before your big event. Lots of steps but a beautiful view when you...More

Off season when I visited, so visitor center was closed. Easy walk, but lots of steps. The dinosaurs were actually built decades ago. Great views of the surrounding area make it worth the walk.

The view of the city is amazing, it's a free little spot to check out. It's worth stopping by. You can view the city below. It's pretty awesome!

I used to visit Dinosaur park as a child when I lived in Rapid City so it's a favorite place of mine to take the grandkids. A little climbing, a little learning, lots of fun.

If it were up to me, I would give this a fair rating. However, my ten year old granddaughter loved it. She climbed the stairs like a mountain goat and had a ball climbing on the dinosaurs. I huffed and puffed my way up the...More

Average would be a compliment to this city attraction. Steps too steep, not handicap accessible, in need of repair. For families with young children ONLY! Great view of Rapid City but unless changes are made, adults avoid.

This is kind of a weird attraction, but it's been preserved nicely considering that it's so old. The dinosaur statues were created in the 1930's and their age is showing. All of them are painted the same shade of green, which doesn't lend to accuracy....More

The whole thing might take an hour, the walk isn't long but you climb about 100 feet of stairs.

Yes, but be aware that if your pooch has any cranky joints, all those steps are going to be hard on her.

That steep winding road everyone is mentioning also really doesn't have a shoulder. I have walked it before, but you need to be careful. The steep turns mean cars can't always see you coming.
