Fun and free!

Not something that could be an all day activity, but definitely worth seeing. Nice scenic drive that has many beautiful views of Rapid City.

The kids enjoyed seeing the dinosaurs but they are all very run down and have seen better days. Still fun to see, at least once. If you aren't able to walk well or are handicapped it will be difficult/impossible to get up to see them as there are many many steps to climb to go up.

Free park! Several big dinosaurs for the kids to crawl on. Amazing view of the city since you are on the top of a huge hill in the middle of the city. Bring your camera!

Free, great for the family :-) It was crazy how big the dinosaurs were. I would go again and take my kids and grandkids :-)

Like many others, my parents took me here on our epic out-West driving vacation when I was a kid. With kids of my own, coming here was like completing the circle! Most of the reviewers here get it, but for those who were not impressed, it is important to realize that these concrete dinos were built in the 1930's. Well... More

First off this attraction is free and this is why we went something else to see while we were on vacation that wasn't going to cost an arm and a leg. It was so worth it. We got a lot of really great photo opportunities with the dinosaurs. And the view from top of the hill is absolutely phenomenal

This is a pretty cool place for a family to take their young ones that are interested in dinosaurs. I recommend it for families

The kids had fun climbing on the dinos and burning some energy on the stairs. The skyline view was enjoyed by all. This is a fairly quick stop but very pretty at nightfall. The stairs were VERY icy. You need gloves and boots with traction in the winter.

At the middle of Rapid City is Skyline Drive, on Skyline Drive is Dinosaur Park. The brontosaurus is visible from many vantage points while driving around town. There are fabulous city views and several varieties of concrete dinosaurs for the kids to check out. There is also a gift shop open from May to September and even a lovely patio... More

Small walking park with a few large dinosaur statues. Great views, but if you drive further up there is a nice look out place. This is a place where kids run to the next dinosaur try to climb, repeat like 4 times then your done. Yes, check out but your child will still need another play park to finish playing... More
