I was here when waiting at the hospital (it is in the basement of a large hospital) and it was fun to walk through. It is quite small, but you can see an iron lung, the way nurse outfits have evolved, and the volunteer staff...More

This is a small museum in a hospital basement but it is well worth the trip. Beautifully presented hospital rooms, dentist and other office memorabilia with knowledgeable, cheerful volunteers.

This is full of all kinds of medical history. Its free and worth it. Ran by retired nurses, they are so full of wonderful stories. Amazing for all ages.

I have toured this Museum several times. It is informative and free. The location is interesting as it is located in the tunnel that connects Sanford Hospital to the Van DeMark Building on the other side of 18th street.

Very interesting to see the medical tools of another era...and yet, I recognized items that are still being used in today's medicine. Price is right - free! and helpful volunteers(?) to answer questions.

Museum is in the basement of the Sanford Hospital complex. Hard to find but well worth the effort. Staffed usually by very knowledgeable, retired health care workers, it has a variety of medical equipment used in days gone by...including an iron lung.
