You gotta make this drive. So pretty. Bridal veil and roughlock falls are absolutely beautiful. If you're coming from spearfish st the end you'll find Cheyenne crossing. It has the cutest gift shop and a local artists jewelry.

We drove the entire way from Deadwood to Spearfish & enjoyed every bit of the ride. One of the falls was about a 1-mile hike from the parking lot, because the road to the falls was still closed for the season. The other falls is...More

This is a very scenic drive that takes you the long way round to Deadwood and Mt.Rushmore. Well worth the drive and stopping off at some of the view points to take in the breath taking scenery.

Did the drive down from Devil's Tower during September on the way back to Keystone. Roll the windows down enjoy the silence and the scenery. Plan ahead as there are several walking/hiking trails along the way.

After visiting the Devils Tower we were headed for Deadwood and had decided to take this route rather than the freeways. A good decision because it's a delightful drive all the way from Spearfish into Deadwood itself with many viewpoints along the way.
