We stopped at Wall Drug on our way from Keystone to Badlands so that we could say that we did. It's a total tourist trap but how can you not go and see what all the fuss (and signage) is about? Grab a map when...More

With a million signs posted along the road, you feel compelled to stop in. Much more touristy than I had expected. The place is over-commercialized. You can purchase almost anything....from a dream-catcher to an ice-cream cone, or a bottle of aspirin. But, you can simply...More

If traveling anywhere near Wall, SD on I 80, you will notice a road sign—excuse me, did I say “a” road sign? About one sign every mile for at least twenty-five miles. We really didn’t have the time but just had to see what was...More

We made a quick lunch stop, and it was a great choice! Plenty of parking space for the 33' trailer we were pulling, plus a good area to exercise the dogs. The burger was delicious, and we enjoyed learning about the history of Wall Drug....More

For miles and miles we saw signs along the interstate advertising this place. We had heard about Wall Drug for years and since it was pretty much at the end of the road as we exited The Badlands, we decided to stop. This place is...More

Their ceaseless advertising every mile of the interstate does its job; we decided to stop by. A fun little detour and place for lunch. Many restaurants to choose from, as well as many quirky stores, such as one with authentic cowboy boots. Overall a cute...More

We were on our way to Mt. Rushmore but decided to stop to see Wall Drug. Enjoyed going there off-peak. Get to see more locals and fewer tourists. Fun place.

There is no denying this place is a tourist trap - in fact, it's a very calculated one given how far their advertising billboards reach - but it's a fun place to stop especially when on a cross country road trip. You can get here...More

Wall Drug was a should see item on our Road Trip. The store consisted of numerous individual shop/stores which were interesting and had a number of stores that were dedicated to local artisans. Interesting walk through, cheap coffee and had a good cake donut.

Not sure what to expect but I loved every minute of it . Plenty places to shop and find reasonable prices. Can't go wrong at the Wall.

Basically right across the interstate. (7.6 miles or 11 minutes) The drive through the Badlands returns via the Interstate. It is a great drive.

We went through 2 times about 8 days apart and never experienced that. No real problems besides the crowds but it was peek tourist season.
