We spent a morning at the Wall Drug store shopping around. All sorts of tourist items to look at. It is store after store all connected together. Definitely a tourist stop.

I remember going to Wall Drug when I was a kid, so I had to go back on our recent road trip. Sure it is touristy and pricey, but it is a great place to stop and browse. Even my son who does not enjoy...More

Found Wall Drug completely by accident when driving across country. It was so cool to see such an awesome collection of stores in a small town. I love the people at nature of South Dakota, and Wall Drug only adds to the beauty of the...More

We stopped here and stayed at Walsh Motel which I recommend for $65.00, clean, no charge for pets and owner very friendly. Then we walked to the famous drug store. I wasn't too impressed. We had breakfast across the street at a cafe & it...More

Typical tourist trap but sometimes those are okay. Loved the Pecan Roll. Fun just to wander around and take it all in.

Despite the enormous advertising on the road, the place doesn't live up to the hype. Too touristy, crowded, and not worth the stop.

If you are really curious, or want to just check it out, then go. Otherwise, don't go out of your way for the definition of "tourist trap". Six out of six in our party says really nothing to see.

Wall Drug is just a souvenir shop. Nothing fun to see or do. It's pretty much just a tourist trap. We did find the nice Shady spot for a picnic lunch though.

After seeing signs for 300 miles for this place I really didn't want to go, just for spite at their over-advertising. But then the sign that said fresh donuts got my kids begging and we ended up in this crazy place. So many people, so...More

Basically right across the interstate. (7.6 miles or 11 minutes) The drive through the Badlands returns via the Interstate. It is a great drive.

We went through 2 times about 8 days apart and never experienced that. No real problems besides the crowds but it was peek tourist season.
