My Husband and I lived in AL when we discovered Countryside on a trip home to visit family. The place is beautiful and they have an area you can sit and taste different wines. My favorite is the Peach and Blackberry, My Husband loves the Blueberry and the sweet red wines. The Staff was very knowledgeable and helped us both... More

Nick and his Dad are fantastic vintners. A wide range of whites, reds, fruit, dry, and sweet wines available for free tastings. We always leave with two or three case. Their Country Red or country white will not disappoint. Short run off I-81, small parking lot.

Was looking for wineries near Bristol & found Countryside. The owner is a real gem and he has a nice variety of wines, as well! This winery has been in business over 25 years, and has a good selection of wine. Spent quite a while chatting with him and getting some history of the area as well. They also sell... More

This vineyard/winery is sort of out in the middle of the country. Goats and other animals roaming around (fenced in) Our dog had a long talk back and forth with the goats. The host was very nice and the wine was good. Bought a few bottles to share later. Enjoyable time there.

It was a Sunday but thank you God open! My wife, 2 daughters and I walked in and were immediately greeted and told if we had any questions to just ask. But I wasnt smotheted (love that). After looking around (even had wine making supplies)my wife and I did a tasting and I started conversation as always. The older gentlemen... More

My favorite winery was always Stonehaus. I wouldn't go anywhere else. When my friend surprised me with a trip to this winery I was thrilled! I absolutely love the wine and the cost is much more reasonable than Stonhaus.

We stopped here on a whim. An older gentleman served us and it honestly felt like we were annoying him by being there. Its a shame because the wines were actually good and we would have made a purchase. Instead I cut the tasting early, thanked him for his time and walked out very disappointed. I've also never been served... More

The winery was very accommodating to our group of about 100+. We came in two shifts and there were several wine tasting stations set up as well as cheese and cracker trays. The wine was very good. Only problem was the bottle of Autumn Harvest that I purchased leaked in the back of my car. :-( I noticed it when... More

The staff members were very helpful and made us feel welcome. This was our first visit to a winery, so we are not experts, but I felt like this winery had a good variety to suit many different tastes. We purchased two bottles and we'll be back! I feel like this wine was far better than anything I'd ever tasted... More

Thought we'd stop by for a sampling. Well, because of the laws, they can't charge...so no "real" sampling. But some nice free tastes and then we bought a bottle...he gave us two glasses and we sat on the porch and relaxed. Was lovely! Wine was very good!
