This was my second trip to Ruby falls with my wife. This time we brought our two sons(9&10) and the place was packed. It was a Saturday so I can see how that was expected. But our group had around 20 people or so. Our...More

We stopped in Chattanooga for the night on our way to Pigeon Forge. It was so worth it! The cave was amazing and the waterfall in it was incredible. The way they did the lights made it so beautiful and majestic. We loved the tour...More

I have seen much better cavern formations but this is a fun, pretty long hike (be aware if you are not in good shape) through a few tight spaces. The falls at the end are the big payoff and totally worth it! Lit up with...More

As for caves, the hike through the cave was interesting with the history that was provided by our guide. However, after going through a few caves over the years there wasn’t anything “new” we saw. But the waterfall was spectacular. To see something like that...More

This cavern attraction has been in operation for a long time, but the facility is well-maintained and the guides are very knowledgeable. Parts of the floor are uneven and often wet, but most of the walk is at an easy grade, with several short segments...More

The staff were friendly and the guides humorous and knowledgeable. The lift down to the tunnel to the fall was rather full and cramped and little uncomfortable. The geological features were interesting and educational and well described by the guides. A few overweight people were...More

My husband and I went to Ruby Falls today. We had just come from the Incline on Lookout Mountain which was great. Since I went on the Incline with him (even though I have a fear of this type of transport), he decided to try...More

We enjoyed this, but if you are not comfortable with caves you might want to avoid it. The elevator ride alone will test your nerves. :-) The thought that the elevator might fail in the middle of a solid stone shaft is a creepy thought....More

Really neat cave with a beautiful waterfall. Nice lighting effects really accentuate the formations. Our guide was informative and entertaining.

I would wear comfortable clothing, shirt and pants. It is damp and chilly at times down there. I would wear close toed shoes or something with a tread as you are going to be on rock that is sometimes smooth, wet or rough... More

It would prove difficult with a stroller on some paths, and impassable on others. even with a baby carrier/backpack, some of the paths are very narrow requiring extra care. I would suggest contacting the venue directly to... More

There were 2 three year olds (including my own) on my tour. We carried her the entire way and my child and the other one were fine. No strollers though.
