Don't miss this! There are two buildings, one houses the River Journey and the other the Ocean Journey. Learn about the habitats found around the world and you will see a variety of exotic plants and animals. This is very educational and entertaining for people of all ages.

This aquarium is one of the biggest aquariums I've ever been to. Everyone was very polite and we enjoyed watching the staff feed the sharks.

This is a very fun aquarium to visit - A little weird that it's separated into 2 buildings, but not necessarily a bad thing (unless it's raining). The inside layout is pretty cool, a ramp from the top of the building spirals down with the tanks. It is a good aquarium, but doesn't have any super special attractions. You can... More

My wife and I enjoyed our experience very much, purchasing the museum and IMax option. We spent a full 5 plus hours and were enthralled the entire time, but we really like to read about what we are seeing and take our time. The plusses include friendly, knowledgeable staff and volunteers, IMax choices rather than one film shown exclusively, and... More

A very nice aquarium with lots of exciting exhibits. Fun for everyone with a vast array of ocean creatures to explore. One of the better aquariums.

This aquarium is okay. It has two buildings, but it lacks punch. There is nothing special about it. We moved here from Denver and their aquarium is much smaller, but much better. The layout isn't good in the salt water building and the other building is like a big fish tank. I think quality is better than quantity when it... More

We stopped by and walked through the Rivers exhibits before going to see another attraction. The museum was clean, up to date and I really enjoyed all the exhibits, especially the river otters.

This aquarium definitely is worth the visit when in Chatanooga. The Ocean exhibition is OK but the fresh water one definitely leaves you with a new standard. It took us almost 3 hours to see it all and the displays seems to be endless. Be aware that there is a lot of walk. I went with my 3 kids and... More

The Chattanooga Aquarium is awesome! We've been several times and learn and see new things each time. This is an excellent learning experience and just plain fun.

This aquarium has two separate buildings, one for freshwater life and one for seawater life. Since I'm from the Great Lakes region, I wasn't super fascinated with the freshwater side. Though it was neat seeing the different types of fish native to Tennessee and the surrounding states. I was more fascinated with the seawater side. They had lots of seahorses... More
