We easily spent like 4 hours here, and it was so worth it! Had an amazing time! The exhibits are amazing, we had never been to an aquarium before, and this blew us away. I can see kids loving this, of course. It was great, so informative & fun, loved the penguins, the butterfly room, the seahorses, and of course... More

I was sooooo impressed with the aquarium- and I live in Florida!! The set up was fantastic and the price was worth it (not bad either). We had a blast going through everything and got some great pictures. The dive show (in the fish and shark tank) was good too. I had a stingray trying to jump out into my... More

I love the inside of this aquarium! The hallways snake through the levels and has huge viewing windows to make you feel like you are really part of the environment you are looking at! Downfalls - two different buildings (river and ocean) + a different ticketing location....... confusing.

The Lemurs have captured our hearts, the penguins are amazing to watch, the touch pool is big and clean and everyone can touch the stingrays, and all the different lakes and oceans full of fish puts this aquarium at the top of our... Tickets are pricey, yes, but worth it for what you get, in my opinion. We brought our 5 YO here on a recent family Spring Break trip to Chattanooga and even with his limited attention span, we... I felt like a kid again! Such a sense of wonder when I looked at all the awesome exhibits. The sea horses were magical and I could have watched the otters all day! It is a must do for all ages!

Although other regional aquariums are larger or have attractions such as beluga whales, the Tennessee Aquarium still tops them all. The Tennessee River and mountain stream exhibits are especially well done, and their amphibian collection is top-notch. The aquarium is engaged in the local community, the state and state-level conservation concerns, and leads the way in regional aquatic conservation. All... More
