The Tennessee Aquarium is a must visit when coming to Chattanooga. There is so much to see and it’s impossible to be bored. There is even an interactive portion of the aquarium where you can touch stingrays and the butterfly room is always stunning. They...More

Definitely a neat facility! It is divided into two buildings; one for freshwater animals and the other for saltwater animals. The aquarium itself is quite large and features many fascinating species. If in Chattanooga, this is a definite must-see. As an added bonus, all of...More

We visited this Aquarium about 20 years ago & remembered how much we enjoyed it back then - So, we were anxious to take our grandkids (college students on fall break) to this Aquarium. If anything - I loved it more than I did 20...More

There are exhibits for all ages here. You take the escalator to the top and then walk your way down to the ground floor as you view the different exhibits. Handicap accessible and climate controlled, so it is a comfortable tour no matter what the...More

We have been multiple times to this aquarium. It is always nice, but is beginning to need some updating.

Nice set up, winding one's way through the facility. A little confusing though as building names were not accurate. Land mammals and some river life in ocean building and some ocean life in river building.

Compared to the Georgia Aquarium this one felt downright spacious. I never felt claustrophobic due to large crowds of people and the flow was great. Lots to see and very educational!
