This was the BEST part of our Chattanooga visit. There's a step thing off the mountain that you can go on to take a full view of the waterfall but it's scary yet safe. Perfect place for a couple or family picture. There's a place...More

This is a classic Tn spot. My 4yo loved the gardens and walking through all of the rock tunnels. Fairy tale land was pretty creepy imo but this is also a 60s tourist attraction so you have to expect something "different" to show up.

This was a great experience. Lookout mountain had waterfalls, suspension bridge (optional), gardens, variety of food selection, starbucks and much more. This does not take much physical activity to see all this which is nice for all ages. You could see all of this in...More

The view from the point park at lookout mountain is gorgeous. Additionally, you get to learn about the history of the civil war soldiers using the landmark as a makeshift hospital and wonder and how thoughtlessly they just dangled their feet over the peak posing...More

Absolutely beautiful paths and vistas but a visit in mid-June even in the morning was very hot! Had a delicious lunch at the top of the mountain.

I know they are allowed on the trails around Point Park, but I don't recall any in the park proper. They are allowed on the Chickamauga battlefield and the Signal Mountain one.

While you can see some of the view simply by driving up to the top, you do need to pay a small fee to access the area at the edge of the lookout, as it belongs to the National Park Service. If you have an annual pass, the... More
