The Passage

Went looking for The Trail of Tears - The Passage and ended up here. It was a beautiful day and the view was amazing.

Beautiful area adjacent to the Riverwalk. A nice grassy area with view of the river. Nice area to catch rays, peoplewaqtch or just relax and enjoy the outdoors.

Was disappointed there was not more there - and where was the waterfall shown in pictures? I came to town not knowing there was so many links to Cherokee/the Removal history, and perhaps more will come to this vital link in American history!

This is a great place to spend a little time enjoying the riverfront. It's also where Riverbend and Head of the Hooch is held. I take my grandkids down here all the time, there is a hill on the other side of the Pier from the steps where the kids can slide down the hill, they enjoy that so much.... More

We were in Chattanooga, Tn for the SUP Chattajack race and enjoyed seeing all the boards, including prone paddlers, OC1, OC2, and various lengths of SUP boards. It was a beautiful, sunny day but very cold with strong winds and quite large waves for the athletes to navigate. This is also the area where the River Cruise docks and is... More

Ross's Landing is a beautiful area, with lots of fun things to look at. The view from the overlook is incredible. My boyfriend and I took lots of great pictures of the river and the scenery. Great spot for a date, a family day, or a fun outing with friends!

This location is on the river front. I personally would not really call this a park as there is really nothing there. This is the location my husband and I had to go when taking the Tennessee Aquarium River Gorge ride. Needless to say, we walked right by this location a few times before we realized this was Ross's Landing.

This is a story of a man who helped the Indians. The guideo nthe Chattanooga Ducks told the story to us. The park has signage to read and is next to the trial of tears- a must see. There is also a statue of CHerokee Indian hidden behind the Aquarium in the trees across from the landing. Don't miss him.

The waterfall walk to Ross' Landing was inspiring and beautifully done with Cherokee symbols, a bit of history and a whole lot of heart, not to mention art.

Located on the Tennessee River, this park is great for watching the boats and rowers on the river. It also provides views of the Walnut Street Bridge.
