Very unique ride!

First of all, I'm terrified of heights and didn't think I would be able to do this, but have done it twice now. The pictures don't do it justice. This cable car is literally... read more

The train we rode going up was very disappointing! The right side windows were all cloudy with some sort of film and you couldn't see any views on the right! Unfortunately, we got the same train going down. The ride seemed quick, however the views from the top were nice. Not sure it was worth the $14 round trip ticket.... More

Incline Railway was great going to the very top of mountain. Then looking out across Tennessee and Georgia. Looking at nature up and down. Simply a must see and do.

First of all, I'm terrified of heights and didn't think I would be able to do this, but have done it twice now. The pictures don't do it justice. This cable car is literally hanging, vertically, off the side of the mountain. It slowly descends and gradually levels out to a gentler incline as you get about halfway down. Then... More

2 adults, 3 kids $64 plus parking (and snacks while you wait in the almost hour line to get back to your car). One time experience and done. No need to come back.

It's the steepest incline railway in the southeast for sure. There's a good little part where you are going to want to hold on. The cars have panoramic windows for the best views. At the top and the bottom there are gift shops. The fudge from the shop at the top is delicious. Even on a cloudy day, riding through... More

Worth taking the leisurely ride down and back up the hill. If you are not a fan of heights its probably not for you. Very scenic passing though the trees and bush

I rate this as 4 stars because I think $15 for 20 min. of fun is a little pricey. The ride is fun, unique and informative. The car could use a renovation as multiple seats were looking pretty rough. This is heated in the winter. Fun experience.

My husband and I went and it was very interesting. It would be spectacular in the fall! Even though I'm not a fan of heights, I had fun.

Riding the incline up Lookout Mountain is as scary as any roller coaster. And once you get to the top, take a look around at the Battleground Park and the beautiful homes. It is amazing to me that the first incline was built over 100 years ago-now that is American ingenuity. Take your kids on it, they will love it-take... More
