Visited the park on a Saturday afternoon and had a picnic. Lots of people there on a nice Spring afternoon. Plenty of parking on the street and in parking lots adjacent to the park. People involved in all kinds of activities-picnicing, exercising, etc. The park is located in downtown Chattanooga and sits along the river. Making it a beautiful place... More

This is an oasis smack in the middle of town with lovely frontage along the river. Carousel is great for all ages. Plenty of quality eateries. Only negative is having to pay to park.

This is a good place for children during daylight. However, the City is having some problems with security during the nighttime hours and it is not my advise to go there after dark or at dusk. You might check and see if they have these security issues fixed.

Visit Chattanooga regularly from Atlanta, always enjoy an afternoon at the shops & eateries at the River front & Coolidge park. It's a tradition for kids to ride the carousel. Fun place in the summer with fountain spray area for children to play in, just a beautiful park. Enjoy the craft/vendor festivals I occasionally happen upon. Always a good stop... More

Kids loved this park complete with water sprinklers, and a old fashioned carousel. Tiered seating provided its a picnic opportunity. Bring a bagged lunch and enjoy.

The park is well used and just off of the Walnut Bridge. It has an antique Carousel and plenty of places to have a picnic. With close proximity to the Tennessee River it makes the park even more special.

great spot to take your little ones (or not so little) to get out some energy. Enjoyed the $1 carousel ride a few times! Lots of great shops and restaurants too to visit.

We went to this park for the carousel, but we so excited by everything else we found!. Walk along the river, and stop to play a game of potsy, play music on the interactive sculpture called "heavy metal", or just sit under a tree. The Jazznooga festival was going on so the free open air concerts were an added bonus.

Went went April 2nd, for a Jazz concert in the park. The park is very clean and well kept. The sound stage was visible and audible from anywhere in the park. Rest rooms close by in a pavilion. Easy access from Frasier Ave. Beautiful Antique Carousel inside a separate pavilion. Ample parking, unless there is an event. Just lovely.

This is a really nice park with plenty of open space. There are a few fun features for the kids including the carousel. Also the park is really close to several fun shops and restaurants, as well as the walking bridge. A great place on a warm spring day.

Thank Kirk B
