There's a carousel, plenty of open areas, and tons of shops, restaurants, and attractions. Parking can be a little tricky at times because people park here for many local events and attractions.

Coolidge Park is a great place, especially for families. There’s lots for kids to do, including the carousel and the fountain. It’s a great place to walk around. There’s also lots of restaurants nearby.

Very interesting park right on the Tennessee river. They have a merry-go-round here that has antique hor5ses and they have been restored to like new condition.

This is a nice park with a carousel and fountain for kids to play in. It is along the river with restaurants adjacent to the park. It's a great place to spend several hours on a nice day.

Great place to spend a couple of hours. Kids played on all of the statues, rode the carousel, walked across the bridge and enjoyed the views on the river.

An alright city park just along the Tennessee River. It houses the carousel building, and has some walking paths and a view of the river (and the Riverfront neighborhood of Chattanooga just across the river). Not a beautiful park (especially in winter), but it's not...More

There is not much going on during the day at Coolidge Park during the day. Difficult to find parking. Restaurants are nearby, though. I didn't see much. Didn't stay long.

Coolidge Park is free! There is a really great merry-go-round that costs $1 per person, but the rest of the park is free. There are some great shops and places to eat close to the park, too.
