We took an easy stroll along the riverfront and the kids took advantage of the wide open space to run around. There was lot of activity at the park with groups having picnics, playing ball & frisbee. It was awesome to see so many out enjoying the park.

Great spot for outdoor activity. Seasonal water fountain to play in, merry-go-round, large open field, picnic tables. Could use more budget eateries around and bathrooms. Right by the river!

Growing up around Mr. Coolidge and his family, however, you would never have known he was a hero of WWII. His infectious smile and sense of humor... More

We come here throughout the year and always have a great time. My daughter had her birthday party here once in a room in the same building as the carousel. There is a fountain area for kids in the warmer months. There is an expansive lawn to play with balls, frisbees, etc. You can walk beside the Tennessee River and... More

This was a nice place to take a break during our exploration of both sides of the river. Lots of dogs, lots of young people, lots of fun. Low-key, free and a nice little pocket of greenspace.

Nice at anytime of day. The city is very centered on enjoying the outdoors & incorporates beautiful colors, sculptures & water fixtures to enjoy while you stroll around town.

This is a wonderful family park on the north shore of the Tennessee River with a great view of the bridges crossing from downtown Chattanooga. It is at the foot of the Walnut Street Bridge - an historic old highway bridge saved from age and destruction by a benevolent community to be turned into a pedestrian bridge enjoyed by walkers,... This is a nice outdoor place to visit in Chattanooga. It is a really good family spot. Must also take the kids to the indoor carousel.

The Coolidge Park is a fun place to take children, especially in the warmer seasons. It offers fountains to play in and a beautiful indoor merry-go-round.
