The highlight of our ten day vacation . We did the all day Steam Engine tour to Summerville. Made us feel like it was 1940. Not that we are that old, but we appreciate that era. Get there early and browse the terminal/museum/gift shop building....More

We've just completed the three hour loop and enjoyed it very much. All the permanent staff and volunteers are very polite and helpful. The scenery does repeat itself so I'm glad we did the 3 hour tour rather than the the 8 hour loop. Every...More

Great for the kids! You get to look at the trains at the station but they let you go inside of them which is a little disappointing! Then you go inside to train depot to buy your ticket to take a 7 seven mile trip...More

A must stop to see the history of the rail road importance of this community in the 1800's . Grand architecture of the grand station house and the multiple track alignments.

Dirty over price poor fall decoration. Do not spend your money and time for something like that...not even $5.00 for a 3 mile ride...to see brush and a junk yard...very upset.

Their website says no need for reservations - plenty of seating. This is probably true as long as they don't have a huge school group scheduled. When we arrived the place was swarming with elementary school kids. We were told they could probably not get...More

Great for kids and train lovers. Good destinations both short and long runs. People who are into restoration or black smithing you go. Great workshops on tour.

We did not do the Summerville trip, however, I'm sure that if you call them they can tell you the type of meal for your trip.
