This was a fun day with our son. Going through the tunnel and ending the first part of the ride with the turntable was interesting. The section that had windows would have been nice if it wasn't so hot. Luckily they had an air-conditioned section...More

I was hoping for lovely views while on the train ride. They were not. I would not do it again. My family was not impressed and yet it was quite expensive for 2 adults and 2 teens,

I appreciate that TVR is trying to preserve railway history and that great. I thought the ride itself would be a little more scenic. I would have liked to see more artifacts from when trains were the only mode of long distance transportation.

Take a history lesson from the old steam locomotive trip in and around Chattanooga. We had a bunch from school but was surprised that so many adults were on the trip.

The train ride was great. We rode in an old steam engine train. You get out and watch them turn the train around. They give you a nice tour of the train repair hub. Very interesting.

Took a 10 yr old and a 12 yr old an the forty five minute ride. It was a nice ride! Over two bridges and through a long tunnel! Guides were great; humorous and educational. Trip has a handicapped walkway, so seniors can avoid stairs.

I really enjoyed the train ride and history about the rail system. Very nice visit. Expect about an hour for the whole presentation.

We did not do the Summerville trip, however, I'm sure that if you call them they can tell you the type of meal for your trip.
