This is part of the system of creeks that makes our area so wonderful. Swimming, fishing, kayaking or canoeing... the creeks have beautiful places to get away and let your hair down.

Our local friends took us for a little hike here. Very beautiful and breathtaking views. We brought our 2 and 4 year olds and they had a blast. We hiked about 4 miles all together.

You must visit North Chicamauga Creek off of Montlake RD in Soddy-Daisy. After a rain you'll see whitewater rapids flowing down the mountain. Rocks a plenty larger than cars. Hiking, and the Cumberland at the top of the mountain.

I live near this creek and come here all the time. There is a beautiful walking trail all along the creek going all the way to the dam. It also leads to a quarry. It is very peaceful and wonderful to canoe on.

Go up to the creek after a day or two of rain and witness the raging waters. The scenery is beautiful and relaxing. Consider packing a lunch and have a picnic above the creek.

This body of water is beautiful. It spreads across expansive land areas but you can visit associated areas such as the river, lake, and park. My husband and I took our dog to a secluded bank area and just enjoyed sitting on the cool bank,...More

One of the most beautiful hikes around, if you're ever in the Chattanooga area, check it out. Be sure to bring shoes you don't mind getting wet if you're crossing the creek. You could make this a half day or all day trip. Depending on...More

Love this area. It is a little hard to get to some more private areas along the river bank. but the more public areas are easily accessible. Great view. Not too crowded and a good place to spread a blanket and relax.

We live in Chattanooga and we hike to what locals call "the blue hole" once or twice a year! The water is crystal clear and cold. Large bolders to jump from into the deep crystal clear water. The most popular rock to jump from is...More

I think its North Chickamauga Creek Conservancy. There is a website but I couldn't link it to this message. There's 3 locations - Signal Mountain, Hixson and Walden, TN. I hope this helps you.
