Our local friends took us for a little hike here. Very beautiful and breathtaking views. We brought our 2 and 4 year olds and they had a blast. We hiked about 4 miles all together.

You must visit North Chicamauga Creek off of Montlake RD in Soddy-Daisy. After a rain you'll see whitewater rapids flowing down the mountain. Rocks a plenty larger than cars. Hiking, and the Cumberland at the top of the mountain.

I live near this creek and come here all the time. There is a beautiful walking trail all along the creek going all the way to the dam. It also leads to a quarry. It is very peaceful and wonderful to canoe on.

Go up to the creek after a day or two of rain and witness the raging waters. The scenery is beautiful and relaxing. Consider packing a lunch and have a picnic above the creek.

Love this area. It is a little hard to get to some more private areas along the river bank. but the more public areas are easily accessible. Great view. Not too crowded and a good place to spread a blanket and relax.

We live in Chattanooga and we hike to what locals call "the blue hole" once or twice a year! The water is crystal clear and cold. Large bolders to jump from into the deep crystal clear water. The most popular rock to jump from is...More

The North Chickamauga Pocket Wildeness is located about 20 minutes north of downtown Chattanooga off of the Thrasher Pike exit from US-27. It is a great spot for hiking or a picnic. The main hiking trail is moderately difficult, and passes by several would-be waterfalls...More

I think its North Chickamauga Creek Conservancy. There is a website but I couldn't link it to this message. There's 3 locations - Signal Mountain, Hixson and Walden, TN. I hope this helps you.
