Small, but very informative and well done. Volunter was knowledgeable and passionate about what the Center represents.

An amazing history lesson in our nations top military award recipients. Ironically it is located in Chattanooga, TN where the Medal of Honor's first recipient is from. Awesome artifacts, interactive displays, and the curators are extremely knowledgeable. Wish there was more space for them. My high school history teaching wife, who is Medal Of Honor curriculum trained said it was... More

stopped by on a recent visit in the Chattanooga area and it was wonderful. The volunteer/docent -- a veteran was most interesting and well versed with the exhibits and artifacts. It is a lot of stuff in a small space down a hall off the main mall area. I'm from South Carolina and had been to the Medal of Honor... More

We made a special trip to go there for my husband. We waited until opening time (11:00 a.m.) & no one EVER showed to open the Center! We waited until 12:00 p.m. & were told by surrounding merchants that they open when they want to. A great disappointment for us all, my husband is ex-military too.

Most of the museum is in storage. I spoke to the curator by phone after my visit. Wish they had enough money to build a real museum and not in the shopping center.
