We enjoyed hours of people watching here. We even slid down the hill on a cardboard slide. Close by to restaurants and shopping. A small festival was going on.

I really enjoyed just being here and watching the water and the people interacting with it - kids, dogs - it was lovely, particularly on a hot day. Loved the murals on the wall. A very pleasant, free, entertainment area.

Located on the river front of the Tennessee River. Dedicated to the original 7 native Indian tribes of the area. Located in the heart of the city.

Was here about 10-11 years ago. They have really added a lot down here. Saw an evening concert, but during the day, it does need to be cleaned up a bit. Saw dead fish and an owl floating around.

The Tennessee Riverpark has a path that stretches for miles, but our favorite spot is next to Chattanooga State Community College. It's got a great playground (2 separate playgrounds with age appropriate equipment to serve both younger kids and older kids, separately), multiple large covered...More

Too bad the fountain wasn't working nor was the water running from the stairs. But still a nice spot in Chattanooga to visit. A lot of Indian art and explenation of the signs.

We stumbled on the river park while we were walking around trying to find something to do after we saw the lines for the Museum and Aquarium had snaked out the door. The water steps are an homage to the Cherokee Nation who used to...More

Nice park and place to walk or picnic. Great for kids to play and cool off in summer heat. Nice view of the Tennessee River and bridges.
