My husband and I stopped here on our drive from Nashville to Knoxville. Some of the other reviews made it sound easy to see the waterfall. We found the parking area just fine and walked the path to the top of the falls. From there you could just see a small stream go over the edge. It was a bit... More

The original location was listed incorrectly but we found it. If you are driving to fast you will pass it. Just a small parking lot and would recommend parking so you face the street to make pulling out easier in case someone parks next to you. There are two main paths. The one that goes into the woods and a... More

Beautiful waterfall but very strenuous hike down the Boulder covered path. I am sure that it being July 31st and 90+ degrees made it seem that much harder. It is well worth the trip.

We stopped here on a sunny Sunday afternoon. First went to the top of the waterfall, then asked some locals how to get to the bottom and they guided us. It is not an easy hike- it involved quite a bit of climbing. The waterfall is 110 feet, so hiking up and down is 110 vertical feet on rocks, boulders,... More

Some friends who had visited in the past invited us to meet them at Ozone Falls for the afternoon. It was a short drive from our home and a falls we hadn't hiked to, so we agreed. First off, this isn't a hike. You're climbing down rocks from the edge of the road to the base of the falls. Even... More

We rented a condo on Renegade Mountain for the weekend to be close to our son's baseball tournament in Crossville. We were looking for something nearby to get out and enjoy the great outdoors. What a great spot! We took three boys ages 8, 5, and 2 and managed to get down and back with some effort. Here's what I... More

We were thrilled immediately after we stopped when a large freight train crossed a raised trestle right across from the parking area. We took some photos. Be alert, the first thing you reach upon leaving your car is the top of the falls. Families with children or dogs, need to be alert to how abruptly you will reach the edge... More

Ozone Falls is just off Interstate 40, yet it seems to be a well kept secret. The falls is not difficult to find but some would consider it remote though it is twenty minutes at most from the interstate. The falls is fed by Fall Creek. The bedrock bottom of the creek is ideal for wading, just be careful of... More

The GPS was off. A local told us to keep going and the sign was there! Fun! Can be a quick or longer adventure.

Take an hour out of your trip and stop and see this amazing waterfall right next to I-40 in Crab Orchard, TN. The hike to the bottom of the falls is moderate to strenuous but just take your time, its worth it. If you just want to see the view from the top its only a few minute hike off... More
