Wonderful place to watch the 2017 eclipse totality. A little scary at the top of the falls, seems you could fall over easily. But then, I'm not good with heights. Swimming at the bottom is top notch.

We hiked down to the bottom. We had three children, 6 , 8 , and 11, along with two dogs. We made it easily but had to hand off the dogs a couple of times. We swam in the pool- it was great. A memorable...More

Make sure you wear sneakers for the Hike up and down the rocks. And have water shoes to get into the pond/waterfall overflow area. This is a hidden gem-one Of the best waterfalls I've visited-and the fact that you can sit directly under the falls...More

We camped at Cumberland mountain state park( beautiful, well kept place!), and visited Ozone falls on the way home. We've seen lots of waterfalls over the years, and this one is amazing! A very high, free falling, uninterrupted flow over the 110 ft cliff, set...More

It depends on the water level, but the pool at the bottom was around 5 foot deep on the day we were there recently. Several people were swimming.
