The covered bridge and the area around it are well maintained. There are also picnic tables nearby if you wanted to picnic here. Would recommend it to those who like covered bridges.

Very nice old bridge, well maintained. If you take a walk in the neighborhood of the bridge there are some really old large houses to look at. Some have been redone. I wouldn't plan an excursion just to see the bridge but its worth a look if youre in the area.

Our friend, born and raised in this town gave us a tour of the town after eating lunch in a cafe downtown. A lot of history here, bridge built on 1800’s. No longer strong enough for driving across, but you can walk over. This bridge is over the Doe River. You can walk here from the downtown area , which is also a neat place to visit the shops there. …
