It was a mild spring evening. Beginning just at sundown, we toured old Franklin and heard captivating stories of supernatural history from our tour hostess, Alisha. We will certainly do this tour again in the future!

My husband and I have been such repeat fans of Franklin on Foot that we have taken every tour offered by the company over the past several years. As we were still in love with the Franklin area but felt we had pretty much mined...More

We recently went on two walks with Franklin on Foot. First, we met at the Lotz House. This consisted of a tour of the home with historical facts about not only the home and the family but also the Battle of Franklin. Margy was our...More

We have been on several ghost tours in different towns/cities. This was by far one of the best. Loved hearing so many stories of the people who lived here over the past 150 years!

Margie shared some great information about Franklin and Nashville. We learned a lot of tidbits about the town and the people who lived there during the war. We really enjoyed this tour and glad we did it. Highly recommend it.

Had a great time. Was a good mix of ghost stories and a history lesson. Our guide was very friendly, knowledgeable and kept my attention the entire tour. You are in/around the house the whole time, so very little walking. Definitely recommend!

It was unusual for the popular Franklin on Foot guide, but she had just our small party of three on this particular night instead of the usual crowds. Still, she didn't stint on performance; if anything we got more than we bargained. It was obvious...More

Fantastic guide and tour. The guide was experienced, friendly and I could tell that she loved what she was doing. It wasn’t the type of tour where the guide reads off a script.

Our Widow of the South tour includes tickets to the 3 houses that you then tour on your own. Each site offers its own tours. You save quite a bit doing it this way.

Absolutely. We welcome dogs on all our tours. We do briefly go inside a couple places on some daytime tours, however. One is a church that doesn't allow dogs. Which tour were you considering?

Most tours are 90 minutes. Food tour is longer. Cost for most is $20 per adult, less for teens and kids. Not a lot of walking. They stick to downtown historic area, stopping at several spots to tell you about the history.
