The City of Johnson City Parks and Rec and planning folks involved with the development of the Winged Deer Park complex and water front area have provided something for all ages, needs, and wants with this location. From free space for running, frisbee (dogs), to play equipment for the very young and not so young, to an excellent city trail... More

We're always on the lookout for things to do with our grandchildren when they visit. We've tried the park & the batting cages. Wow! This year, we found that there were day camps for kids offered each week. We tried one when our grandchildren were visiting, and they loved it. Great price. Grandsons loved it. Hope they offer day camps... More

We were here for softball, so we didn't venture much from the fields, although seeing that they have a "beach" as I read in a review, I wish I would have looked around. The fields are well maintained and the concession stand was excellent, the FRIED bologna was awesome! There are also like 5 poke stops all around right there,... More

I really enjoyed the lovely grounds when I went and listened to music in the park. It was relaxing and simply pretty.

It'd just an ok park there is an area below the park where you can walk along the lake that is nice other than that it's mostly dedicated toward little league.

There are so many things to do within Winged Deer Park from hiking, playing disc golf, to walking along the beach! Take your own soccer or volley balls and play awhile. There are several places to enjoy a family picnic or a family reunion.

Only stayed around the ball fields. The fields are very nice and are well maintained. 5 total fields with concession stand in the middle of the main 4 fields. Nice playground for the kids in between the ball fields.

Thank jpcecil
