We brought our 2 yo grandson and he loved it. We have also brought a group of elderly folks who also loved it. There is a play room for kids who get bored quickly looking at things and want hands on.

I love to just walk through and see how things were years ago. My family has always tried to find out how transportation was when my grandparents were alive.

More model trains than museum--popular with the kids. Sometimes you encounter very friendly volunteers--sometimes not so much. It's free--donations welcome--so how can you really complain? Take the kids and enjoy. Just don't expect expert/fanatical archives, etc.

The trains in this museum are great for people of all ages. The detail work is exceptional. Also great for a rainy day activity.

This is a relatively small museum of railroad memorabilia. It has a children's playroom, a room with a number of layouts and cases of items from railroad collectors on display. There is also a hidden room, that is not well signed, but if you ask...More
