I work downtown so I go there for lunchtime. Its quiet and peaceful and beautiful. It never ceases to amaze me that such a nice place is in a downtown location. It has waterfalls and running water and grassy areas as well as benches and covered areas. Take a stroll, have a picnic, read a book in the shade, take... More

You must make a pit stop here if your within downtown area proximity. It's the kind of place you can take your dog, kids, and whoever else. Not to mention the time to time special events that happen here. Just visit city of knoxville events website. There's surely something happening or soon to come.

Really enjoyed the view from the observation tower. The grounds are well kept and there seemed to be a lot going on while we were there.

Lots of fun! Take lots of pictures and is very pet friendly. It has lots of water features that make for good pictures. You cannot get into the water but can run through the fountains. It is great on a sunny, hot day. I would also recommend taking the dogs.

Nice place to spend some quiet time. The fountain isn't always filled-it's more pleasant when it is.

I just discovered the section near Cumberland Avenue with the Rachmaninoff statue - wowie! It is beautiful! We strolled up the steps, past the statue, and along the path parallel to the railroad tracks. There is a huge green area alongside the path, where dogs were frolicking with their owners. And the pond is lovely. Try this place out for... More

The splash pad is great for kids on hot days. Good views of downtown, Sun Sphere is right there. Not many activities to due, mainly walking around.

First visit to Knoxville other than passing through. I would say the park is a must-see. Went up the elevator to 4th level for a great panoramic view of the World's Fair site. Just super. Easy walk from the Square too. Hope to return when I can stay and see much more of the city.
