From the 10-ton, 30-foot-high basketball that sits on top of the building to the life-like animatronic figure of Senda Berenson, "the mother of women's basketball," this will not be your typical hall of fame visit.

It's worth going just to see the building - part of which looks like a basketball about to drop into a net. Wow! That's actually why we went - a friend told us about the architecture and we wanted to see it. Apparently, however, a...More

I enjoyed visiting the museum on Wednesday, May 10, 2017. Fans of women's basketball will love it. Persons who especially enjoy the lower floor's opportunity to test and practice their basketball skills may rate this attraction at five stars. But persons who aren't interested in...More

This is very disappointing. Do not recommend. The displays are second class. The location is very accessible as the Marriott is next door. The time spent was about one hour, only my sister enjoyed it as she is a ladies lady.

Where better could the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame be located than in the city where the greatest college basketball Coach (Pat Summit) set so many records and won seven (7) National Championlships.

This was interesting! Didn't take very long to go through but it was full of information. We enjoyed the basketball area downstairs. The virtual basketball on the "original" court wasn't working and we were disappointed in that but we had a great time. Prices are...More

It is an interesting building in a prominent position high above the Tennessee River and worth visiting if you are into basketball and it presents an interesting look at the history of women in this sport. It was adjacent to the Marriott hotel and on...More

It was on honor to be able to tour the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame today. The strides made in women's basketball throughout history is amazing. The uniforms were jaw dropping and the hair styles were "dip-pity do! Wonderful wealth of history.

My husband and I had been talking about going to the WBHoF since before we were married, but for different reasons we hadn't yet. Finally we went, celebrating our 11 year wedding anniversary. We had an absolute blast! The staff (Merrier Rogers) was incredible, and...More

How long does it usually take to go through the Hall of Fame? We have a couple of hours on a Friday afternoon while we're in Knoxville, but I want to make sure that's enough time for what it has to offer. Thanks!

A couple of hours is plenty of time to see the exhibits and watch the film. We took pictures, watched the film, saw the exhibits and shot a few hoops in about an hour.

My boyfriend and I purchased a picture from an estate sale for the frame. When we took it apart we an old photo young women posing with a basketball and hoop. Pic may date back to early part of 20th century. I can send a photo if you may have an interest in display in the museum. Please let me know either way. Thx

I am currently in Knoxville, and we come on business here at least bi-weekly. I am sure the curators would be interested and would be happy to take it by there. Maybe they can give you information about the photo at least.
