From the 10-ton, 30-foot-high basketball that sits on top of the building to the life-like animatronic figure of Senda Berenson, "the mother of women's basketball," this will not be your typical hall of fame visit.

I enjoyed the opportunity to see the history of women's basketball chronicled in one place, it was especially moving to visit this week, with the recent passing of a legend of basketball, Pat Summit. The exhibits are well laid out, a lot of history, in a bastion of sports mania, Knoxville.

Quote from their own site sums it up - "From the 10-ton, 30-foot-high basketball that sits on top of the building to the life-like animatronic figure of Senda Berenson, "the mother of women's basketball," this will not be your typical hall of fame visit." Unfortunately, this was true for me. I have really enjoyed almost all of my many other... More

This is a great museum if you're a fan of basketball, men or women's. It's also great if you enjoy history. It's incredible to see where this game started to where it has come to today. All of the great players and coaches are there to see and hear their stories. You can "huddle" with the coaches on the sidelines... More

We visited the Hall of Fame the day after Connecticut Women won their fourth straight NCAA Championship. It was a good atmosphere to take into the Hall of Fame! The beginning movie was well done and the exhibits are all informative and well done. It is worth a look if you are going to Knoxville.

I have taken my class here on a summer field trip for the past 8 years. They get to learn the history behind women's basketball and then go to play in the gym area. We also have watched a movie in their theater and had a pizza party. This is an excellent place to visit and the staff are always... More

Right when you enter the Hall, you will be greeted with an impressive rotunda that gives a great view of downtown Knoxville. With exciting exhibits, accessible basketball courts, and wonderful people, every age is sure to have a blast! This landmark also is great for wedding... More

We wanted an activity to fill time while in Knoxville and this was a great option. For any women's sports lover....it is a must see. Nice job of presenting the history of women's basketball. Pat Summitt was a key part of the history and represented very well. There is a neat area to shoot baskets with kids....if you take kids

They do have a nice mix of static and interactive exhibits. They have lots of history and statistics.
