The Bijou is and incredible gem in downtown Knoxville, TN. I have seen several concerts in this little place. Artists frequently comment during their shows about how amazing the acoustics are in the building. If you have the opportunity to select your seats, try to get front row in the balcony. The place is so small that the front of... More

What a wonderful place to see a show. I titled this review "Easy" because that is exactly what this theatre is. It was easy to get something to drink - it was easy to use the "facilities" - it was easy to get in and out! Not to mention how comfortable the seats are... I kept wondering why no one... More

My wife and I had the pleasure of attending the Knoxville Jazz Orchestra's 2017 Valentine's Day concert at the Bijou Theater. We started the evening with a dinner at the "Bistro at the Bijou", in an adjacent building, where we had a great meal. There is free parking around 3 short blocks away and paid parking right at the venue... More

Online it says they open the doors at least 60 minutes prior to showtime and that was not accurate. I think we were allowed inside 45 minutes before the show was suppose to start. The place is beautiful but the seats are pretty small. Parking was $10 directly across the street. Since I went to the Bijou because of who... More

I love performances here. The seats are comfortable and the acoustics are great. I love the architecture and décor. It is nice to see a concert here because of the intimate feel. The staff is excellent, everyone was so nice. We had to go through a security check line but it went fast and the people were friendly.

I am fortunate to have been to the Bijou many times over the years. Known as an "acoustically perfect" theatre, the Bijou was almost torn down not too many years ago. Thank goodness the good people of Knoxville mounted a campaign to save it. It is smaller than its sister right down the block, the Tennessee Theatre, but what it... More

The Bijou is a smaller venue for concerts, very intimate. A little less refined, (scruffier?), than the Tennessee Theater down the street. It has its own charms,

They have wonderful performances here. I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. Seats are comfortable. Loved sitting in the balcony. Sound was excellent. Makes for a great evening out.

Been to this theatre several times and it is comfortable even though it's small and old. Easy to be personable with the artists, even the balcony and 20th row feel close to the stage. There is a bar to serve water, drinks, wine, and beers that are allowed in the theater area. Haven't eaten there, but there is a small... More

We saw my favorite guitar hero for two nights in May 2016. What an excellent venue. We've attended many concerts over the years. This hall has musical mojo and there's not a bad seat in the house that I can tell.
