on the second floor, A silicone figure of a grandmother and baby looked so real even with the hair! There was also a long painting in the other gallery that depicted the different people of the different cities of Tennessee: Memphis, Nashville, and Knoxville, I...More

My family enjoy visiting the museum a few times a year. The exhibits usually change every few months and its just overall a refreshing experience. This is no charge but they really appreciate any donations.

Check this place out, it's free! There were some great exhibits while we were there. Free parking, three floors, outdoor balcony and great view. Staff was courteous, however, one gentleman who was there to protect the collection was very intrusive. He made us feel like...More

Knoxville offers so much and without entry fees! We loved the exhibits and the emphasis on local art and artists. Great gift shop! And the don't neglect to stroll the gardens.

Knoxville is not a large city as cities go but it's art scene is one of the most vibrant we've seen. From KMA to the Emporium, if you like art, you'll be right at home in K'ville.

This is a nice museum but it's small. It is free and it is nice but you can do it all in 45 minutes and we love museums. It's worth going to but it won't take long.

Attended a charity event there a couple of weeks back and was not as impressed as I would've liked to been. The table layout for the event was obstructed by the stairs and need for affective traffic flow. Great location but the parking is a...More

I researched this museum with TripAdvisor before we went to Knoxville. I agree with the reviewers who say it is small but interesting and worth a visit. When we visited there was a display and information about a local artist. The bottom floor had glass...More

Because of time difference, I just saw the question now. The museum was closed Christmas eve and it will be closed today, Christmas.
