I organized my firm's family event, and the Knoxville Zoo did not disappoint! The staff was wonderful! The event space and food were perfect! Our entire group (about 175) were very impressed! We have never had a better family event!

We went to the zoo on Monday dec 4. Weather was sunny and about 65. Most of the animals were active or eating. There are elephants, giraffes, rhinos and a tiger. There is an indoor play place that my 5 year old truly enjoyed

Great zoo with some very cool animal enclosures. I loved the bear exhibit! They also have Mold-A-Matic machines to make molded wax animal souvenirs. This was a blast from the past that was fun to pass on to the next generation. Only downside about going...More

This is a fun experience for anyone of any age but a homeschooler would find some intriguing experiences targeted at you. I encourage you to contact them about the next homeschool presentation and get out with the kids.

I don't think that you have to have the printed ticket but I'm not 100% sure. Call the zoo at 865-637-5331 to clarify the issue.
