A Very Good Concert Venue!

Our recent return to this auditorium was a pleasant experience. We had seats in the lower balcony and having been at several levels over the years, the view was every bit as good... read more

Saw Jim Gaffigan here; he was great! The auditorium is very nice and the seats are comfortable. Unfortunately, the everything else wasn't so great. We went to the late show that evening, which was supposed to start around 45 minutes after the first one. We arrived about 30 minutes early and the parking situation was ridiculous. The other cars were... More

Great facility for our large group and ample parking for 400 plus people. Easy access off of I40 interstate.

Our recent return to this auditorium was a pleasant experience. We had seats in the lower balcony and having been at several levels over the years, the view was every bit as good as a lower messazine section, except at the orchestra level. The seating assistants were very helpful and friendly. The music acoustics are very good and we definitely... More

Me, my wife, and 4 yr old son went to watch Disney Magic Show. We had a nice time. The auditorium was easy to find with GPS and easy access.

This is next door to the Knoxville Coliseum (a huge venue that has big exhibits and trade shows) but the civic auditorium is more conducive to a concert experience. It is roughly a 2,500 capacity Auditorium and several concerts are booked here every month. There are smaller, more intimate venues and bigger or more ornate spaces for concerts. There is... More

On November 1st 2015, I took my wife and 3 children to see Disney on Ice at Knoxville Civic Auditorium. Before I go any further, let me clarify that this is a review of the venue itself and not of the show. I will do that one separately. This was my first visit to the venue since 2000: when I... More

Clean! Convenient parking but it was $$ sign said $5 dollars which is average but they were charging $10. Great level of security and traffic control very organized! Facility was well laid out and easy to find your seats. Comfortable temperature and good view from various seats. We would def. go back to an event here. :)

We visited the auditorium for a two-day dance competition. My only complaints is the concession stand(s). The first day we bought lunch instead of having to go out in the freezing weather and it was ridiculous how much 2 hot dogs and 2 cokes cost us. Not to mention that was the only "meal" type food that was offered. I... More

We were here for a concert on November 10 . We have been coming here for years for concerts, circus, hockey games and many other events. It has easy access to and from the interstate and parking is ample. Concert tickets are reasonable here. It is showing its age. We noticed the old wood flip down seats didn’t flip back... More

I have gone to a number of events at the Knoxville Civic Auditorium. It's an old structure that might be on the city's redevelopment list. But, it's a solid place for concerts and other performances with good seats and views throughout. Don't judge the place by its cover. I think it has many years of service left in it.
