Nicaragua Market is a small company that offers authentic Nicaraguan goods. We work closely to local artisans and the price you see is a reflection of our fair value after partnering with our artists. When you purchase Nicaragua Market products you are helping to ensure that the trade of local Nicaraguan artistry remains a viable small business.

The market in Masaya does not sell any local produce. They sell generic junk all made in China. You can buy the same things in markets like this all over the world. The vendors do not have a clue about what they are selling, for...More

This place is extremely overrated. It might have been good once, but if it were, it is now totally ruined by the bus tours from Granada. As a rule the vendors closest to where the tourist buses stop have the least interesting things and the...More

If you are looking for cheap well made hammocks of all varieties this is your market. Lots of cute handicrafts and not much hassle from the vendors. Good trip to combine with a tour to Masaya volcano.

Seriously, don't bother! We were very disappointed. Just cheap touristy junk. With the possible exception of locally made hammocks, there was not a single thing there I'd want to buy. Masaya is a grubby place and not worth the detour.

This place had all kinds of souvenirs for the kids to browse and purchase. They have beautiful local handmade crafts and the place is huge!

But a lot of the same same, look really hard for the different pieces and stalls with an artist working on his own pieces. Better prices than tourist shops but Remember the best examples go to the airport shops and high end shops.

On this market, there are many nice things! However, it is almost the same in every shop and the prices are more or less fixed! Prices are OK, but could be cheaper

The Masaya market felt very safe and clean compared to other markets in the area. I did feel like many items were over priced and most stores carried the same items.

So this is a larger market full of beautiful stuff, like pottery and wood creations and trinkets and hammocks and clothing and whatnot. It's definitely worth dropping in, but I'd argue it's no different than good, tourist-centric markets in other countries. Definitely not something to...More

We enjoyed this market's variety and quality of goods. It was also clean and easy to maneuver. i didn't enjoy the parking guy being aggressive about trying to clean the monkey poo off our rental car with Kleenex and being sassy when I gave him...More

Its in Masaya. We took a little detour to visit it, on our way to Granada.
