St. John's Pint is a beautiful area to go in County Donegal, not far from Killybegs. The road to the light house offers a beach and great scenery !!

The best way to appreciate this area is to leave your car and walk from the beach up to the light house. The scenery is great and you nearly no one. It is unblemished and worth the walk.

We took the road down to the lighthouse while touring in the area, and were glad that we did. It is such a beautiful place to visit - with the "derelict" lighthouse at the end of a long long road, and not many passing places....More

Quiet spot with a scienic drive with the sea on both sides of it to a nice small beach. Nice visit if your in the area in a rural setting. There is a lighthouse at the end of the road but there was signs up...More

You can drive up to the lighthouse but the road is very narrow and hard to turn on. We did not get up close to the lighthouse.

The longest Peninsula in Ireland? Single track road - rutted in places - and NO passing places along the final mile - and only spaces for four cars in the small car park at the light-house end! Be prepared to reverse back and park "off-road"...More

Very quite and romanic place tucked away over looking the bay. Mountain ranges and farm anamals cows sheep and birds.
