Good place to go for lunch or snacks and very calm surroundings. Kid friendly too and pleasant on a sunny day.

Two working windmills, a fully functioning huge water wheel and a fantastic tour guide called Paddy, thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Perfect spot for afternoon coffee and cake. Actually it was latte and apple pie and both absolutely scrumptious. Lovely atmosphere and a very nice little gift shop to boot.

We tried to visit twice and were deterred by the same, very rude, unhelpful man at reception both times! First time was in October, we arrived apparently too late for the obligatory guided tour, although it was still only mid-afternoon. No welcome, no apology, no...More

Skerries is a beautiful seaside town in north County Dublin. When visiting call in to see Skerries Mills. It’s a beautiful old bulding with a water mill and two windmills. Go inside and visit the gift shop and have a coffee in the cafe.

You can walk to or park at the mills. You can walk around the two windmills, water mill and coffee shop for free. You certainly don't have to book and it's a very pleasant way to spend an hour or two. There is a guided tour... More
