Had a fish chowder, salad and bread at the cafe upstairs at Skerries Mill. Everything fresh, homemade and Delicious! Also very affordable and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. Noticed a play area for children at the end of the room so would be good for children. Lot of locals so you know it's good!

This place is fantastic! We took the last tour (3:30) on a Sunday with Gavin and we can't say enough about how much fun and how informative it was. Okay, so, full disclosure, we are total history geeks, and Skerries Mills is a great place for such geeks to get a fix for milling technology history. Gavin explained everything about... More

Did not know what to expect on visiting the Mills but what a wonderful place. Our guide Adam expertly guided us through the history and the intricacies of how the machinery worked. There are three mills all built between the 1500 to th1800. You have to be impressed by the sheer genius of craft and workmanship that went into building... More

Anyone living in Skerries or visiting Skerries should add the Mill to their itinerary whether to visit or to enjoy a well earned cuppa with some delicious treats. Having withstood the weather and even a fire, Skerries Mill grows in popularity as a local and international attraction - and that's well earned kudos. It's a fabulous venue for a day... More

Visiting Skerries Mills was one of the highlights to my trip in Ireland this year. I was on the fence about the hour long bus ride north from Dublin, but the fantastic views and photo op were totally worth it. The Mills has two great windmills, along with the historical mill which was also at one point water the diesel... More

Interesting combination of watermill and 2 windmills on the east coast not far from Dublin but far enough to be peaceful and tranquil. Take the guided tour because the guide is full of interesting information you will miss if you go self-guided. A nice place to spend a relaxing couple of hours.

In the summer of 2016 I visited my family in Ireland. While there we spent a very pleasant afternoon at The Mill in Skerries, Co.Dublin. Finding The Mill was an unexpected pleasure and a wonderful way to spend an afternoon for several families with children of all ages. There were toys to keep the tots occupied while the adults enjoyed... More

Tells the story of Skerries Mills, how the Mills developed. How the horses turned the windmills around, the production of bread, its local importance to the economy. Tour takes about 45mins and very good value and you get to walk to the windmills. Family suitable and very good value. Skerries Mills also hosts a very nice restaurant and gift shop.... More
