This is a fairly large, nice state park that includes camping, chalets, a lake, hiking trails, restaurant, swimming pool and more. Only reason for four star rating is that the restaurant was closed and so was the museum. We did enjoy the quietness and beauty of the park plus the birds of prey exhibit.

Even though you and camp out, grill out, swim, ride bikes, hike, you can also just drive thru and enjoy nature at its best.

Many things to do for kids swimming in The creek or at the pool Big beautiful park for kids to play with up to date equipment. Boats to rent to go fishing or just to take in the beautiful view of the park

I grew u going to this park(30yrs) and Ive never had a bad experience. Theres always an activity going on. I really enjoy the "crockett days" with settlers and pioneers. The kids loved the museum - and while it is small we stayed for over an hour - but it gave them a good sense of who Crockett was and help contextualize lots of the books we've read about him. The park looked lovely but it was raining -

The new exercise equipment the park has added to the trails is great!! Love the trail through the woods and the hiking trails up from the falls near the observatory pavilion.

The park is beautiful. I would love to stay in one of the cabins in the future. There are many nature trails, picnic tables, places for campers, etc. There is also a restaurant.

I live in Lawrenceburg, TN where this park is located. It is a great asset to the community and a fantastic place to visit or stay while you're in town. The park offers areas for sports and a playground, an olympic size pool, Lake Lindsey (bring your fishing gear and/or ride a paddle boat if they are available), a beautiful... More
