this whole area is quite serene, on a dreary day is scares the punters away, giving the very drivable roads all to ourselves, it is easy to miss the waterfall as it comes up quick, however, worth a look during a drive.

Really pretty, sad it wasn’t advertised more? Seems not much gets signed from roads? We knew from a local map and went looking for it!

While doing the Sally Gap drive we stopped at the Glenmacnass Waterfall. There is a small area to pull in across the road.

On our first trip on 2009 we happened upon this spot on our way to Glendalough and now we never miss that moment to stop and take a photo. So serene!

We drove by the waterfall and it is pretty but there is nowhere really to park. Also, it's more of a trickle down the mountain side - not a huge waterfall. I would skip it unless you just happen to be driving by.....

Be sure to stop and watch the waterfall on your way to Laragh. Magnificent view. Every trip to Glendalough we pass throughout this marble.

This is a beautiful Waterfall set in Glenmacnass Valley which is very picturesque. In Summer the water levels are low so you don’t get to see much of a Waterfall. There is parking nearby which is handy and also you are not too far from...More

I was so excited to see this waterfall and it was truely what I expected. From the top it feels like you are going to fall off a cliff. Beautiful!

It's a quick walk, 5mins. If you're driving up Old Military Rd, you'll see the falls ahead; pull off at one of the little turnouts and mind the traffic walking. There's space for 2 cars or so at the top. The road goes... More
