Michael our tour guide did his very best to make the trip interesting. On Tuesday when we visited there was absolutely nothing going on in the winery, the chocolate section or in the preserves section. Sure he provided us with three wines to taste which...More

Nice experience, guide was very informative. Wine tasting was a bit rushed but enjoyable. Had lunch there which was tasty and nicely presented. Took about 2 hours with lunch

We all loved our visit here. Informative without waffling on and on. Really interesting stuff, even if wine isn't your thing. The tasting was great and although we didn't eat in the cafe, it looked clean and the food looked good.

We went for afternoon cream tea and tour deal. The cream tea was nice as was the glass of La Mare sparkling wine, but the service was just a bit sullen and unfriendly. Not overly bad but just a smile and pleasant welcome would have...More

We enjoy nice wine but as soon as we walked into La Mare we realised it was going to be very snobbish and judgemental as to who was to visit....We generally don’t like cider but the guy on the entrance was determined we would try...More

A pleasant walk around and well explained processes but rather disappointing wine and not a lot else to see. Some awkward access/ pipes etc for disabled.

A lovely cafe, good service, simple but excellent food. We visited for lunch and a quick look in the shop. The food seems particularly fresh.
