Also the gentleman who attends the museum... More

We normally go there twice a year, Liberation Day May 9th. And the threshing fair in September, on theses dates there are classic car displays in the centre on the train track, and tractors, static engines and Land Rover off road, model cars for sale, they also make and sell fresh Jersey Wonders, and cabbage loaf, tea room is there... Fantastic Museum besides well preserved steam engines there are wonderful exhibits of cars and tractors from past years. Upstairs is unbelievable with everything from old household implements old organs, bikes, radios far to much to take in in one visit need to go back next year when hopefully the full-size steam loco will be running.

I am a self confessed steam buff but this place had so much more. OK some of the exhibits were a random selection of bit and pieces but the restorations done here are superb. I was able to see examples of my 1st 4 cars (An Austin A30,Ford Anglia,Ford Escort,Mini) - deep joy Cheap attraction - a bit out of... More

Not a museum more like a large collection of quirky pieces including steam trains, old cars and lorries, farm tools and so much more. Just a delightful place to while away a couple of hours, I thoroughly recommend a visit. I found the old trucks, Austin J40 pedal car and Raleigh Chopper bikes particularly interesting. There is really something for... More

Husband and I visited a few days ago on a short break to Jersey. This is not a huge museum in terms of area size but there was such a huge amount of things to see. What a brilliant collection of things, not all steam related but brought back a lot of old memories of things I remember at my grandparents...
