Although completely out in sticks Bigbury is wonderful. Great for walking or sitting if the weather is ok. There is a small cafe at the top of the car park which serves a great cup of coffee. Sadly there is no shop anywhere in the...More

This is a lovely stretch to walk your dogs on and go over to Burgh island and look back on the coastline. I would recommend you take food and drinks as you cannot rely on the pub or cafe being open.

Large sandy beach with adjacent cafe and car parking. Also visit Burgh Island. On site surf school. A great day out although the single track road can test the nerve

We visited Bigsbury-on-sea beach the whole area was terrific, the beach and the river Avon estuary really open up at low tide lots of sandy beach area, rock pools, walk to Burgh Island at low tide or ride the sea tractor a good day out.
