This park provides great views of Chattanooga and the Tennessee river. There is a nice memorial in the center and my son loved taking pictures with all of the cannons. However, the park is a bit pricey for what you get.

It was interesting to see the historic rocks where soldiers and generals once stood in 1863 and then seeing them with the same placement in 2017. More beautiful views of Chattanooga and picture opportunities.

Best views of Chattanooga and Tennessee River, with great Civil War history narration by the NPS. Fantastic for hiking and Civil War history.

The drive itself up Lookout Mountain to Point Park is enjoyable. Hairpin turns and narrow roads make it exciting for the driver (and the passengers looking out their side window). It was $5 to enter the park and we paid at an automated machine. I...More

Save the money of taking your family down the inclined railroad and go to point park! It's $5 a person, but a nice park to get a great view and have a picnic lunch.

Point Park is such a beautiful spot. They have added paid parking since we visited last year, but it was only $3 to park for an hour. I don't think the parking things took cash, so make sure you have a credit card or you'll...More
