We cycled it - the surface is smooth and easy, as it is a disused railway line, and there are several viewpoints which would have given better views if the weather had been better.

You can make the walk/cycle ride as long or short as you please, mainly on the level. Some interesting views as well as some industrial history to see. Worth deviating off to the dam.
