Lovely valley, farm fields and moorland trails with grazing ponies and sheep. Combine your route with a tea room or pub. Had some very useful advice on directions from locals.

Wow, have ridden at many stables, but the organisation of this one was first class, the immaculate hat hire, even down to the hair net provided was exceptional, the tack room was the most tidy, organised tack room I have ever seen. The instructor who accompanied us, was friendly and interested in us, she pointed out the amazing scenery, told... More

Nothing could be better than pony trekking across the Moors. Did this as a teenager, many years ago and will return some day.

I visited Shilstone Rock for a hen party ride, our group had mixed ability although 4 out of the group own or have owned horses and would consider themselves experienced riders. The weather was unfortunately against us being a very windy and wet day which affected the horses who played up resulting in two riders falling off. We returned early... More

My two daughters ages 11 and 14 years had a wonderful 2 hour ride on the moors. Alona and Corina ensure that the horses are suited to your ability so that you have an enjoyable experience. We will be back again!

Good horses, friendly lead riders but it's a long and steep trek by road to the open moor if only booked on an hour ride.
