Really authentic experience and the guide was awesome, full of knowledge and enthusiasm. Yes there is a bit of a walk but my 7 and 9 year old didn't mind. Bear in mind it cash only.

Haven't been here for many years. There is a car park - 3.50p - and a long walk to the lighthouse. Guided tour on the hour every hour, but costs five pounds. No refreshments available anywhere!

Visited with children ages 7 and 9, and passed a lovely few hours here. The coastal walk from the car park to the lighthouse was an easy and picturesque 15 min flat stroll. Great place for wild-flower spotting. The lighthouse tour is v reasonable at...More

The roads leading to Start Point Lighthouse are narrow, and not for the faint hearted, but the effort is certainly worth it. From the carpark area to the lighthouse itself is a decent walk though, so appropriate wear is advised. One of very few lighthouses...More
