Thought it would be nice to sample some local treats, somewhat disappointed with the number of stalls selling meat (2). A few produce stalls, cheese stalls and a coffee room otherwise just like any other small market, oh and a fish stall only standing on...More

Thank you for your review. We have a different fishmonger on each market day as opposed to only on a Saturday. Our Thursday fish stall has attended our market for 30 years and sells his own locally caught fish and seafood. We actually have 3...More

Thank you Georgia for the great review. We try very hard to offer a broad range of goods from only quality stallholders, with all purchases protected by our unique shoppers' charter. We all hope to see you again soon.

If you like a long drive on a Sunday to find a deserted town and a market that clearly has not been running - then you’ll find this fits the bill. Yes my rating “pants” putting it politely

The Country Pannier Market only runs every Thursday and Saturday throughout the year and never on a Sunday. There are privately run speciality markets that are run on Sundays throughout the year and on a regular basis but not every week.

Every Thursday and Saturday morning, small market but with interesting stalls, great bacon rolls and friendly people.

It's well worth a look around this market, so many interesting and quirky things to see, also a bonus your dogs can wonder around with you and you can grab a nice coffee and sausage sandwich to keep you going.
