Chris gave a really good tour. He was great with the kids and we found lots of fossils. I would recommend him to other people.

Fossils on a Fossil Walk. Lol! We joined Paddy Howes on his Fossil Walk in honour of my Big Birthday Bash - a lady never says exactly how old..... The walks are run from the Lyne Regis Museum - only £12 each. Book online at the museum website. It was a thoroughly enjoyable 3 hour hunt along the beach east from Lyme with Paddy sharing his expertise and showing us what to look out for. We found ammonites mainly and lots of iron pyrite (fools gold) but others also found fossil vertebrae. We declared ourselves the best fossil finds and headed off into town for some well earned lunch. Highly recommended - don't forget to wear sensible shoes and clothing. TOP TIP: We took old gardening gloves for raking through the stones and a carrier for our finds.

Amusing and entertaining, Chris kept the boys (and our) attention and they learnt so much. The fossil walk was fascinating and we came back with our pockets laden.

Fantastic walk with Chris. He showed us all what to look for and where - and kids came back with a big haul which they are delighted with. Fun, knowledgeable and really enjoyable. Highly recommend this walk and guide. We went on our own the day before and found nothing so it’s good to go with an expert!

Today I went on a fossil walk led by Paddy Howe, the info he gave us was fascinating and he is a very knowledgable but down to earth friendly guy. I found various fossils and rocks on the beach helped by Paddy’s expert eyes. Lyme is a beautiful place to visit and finding fossils and knowing their history and origin gives it more of a wow factor. The walk only cost £12 too. A fabulous day.
