A lovely drive up the coast road on a sunny autumn day took us here for the first time. Lovely gardens to walk in, colourful even late in the year. An easier walk than many of its type for older visitors. Great tea room for 'afters'. Just a shame you can't have a walk round the castle, that could have... More

We loved visiting the gardens here and rain let us enjoy it all to ourselves! We started with the Castle Walking Trail which is a great way to view the beautiful exterior of Glenarm Castle. You can even see some of the older outer walls of castle along the walk. The gardens are much bigger than you think, we surprises... More

The castle and it's grounds were impressive. Unfortunately it rained heavily on the day of the wedding we went to at the castle so we didn't see it in it's full glory.

I have had the good fortune to visit The Walled Garden at Glenarm Castle at different times of the year and it is a must do visit every time I visit the area. The tea room is delightful. The Victoria sandwich cake was like nothing I have sampled before and I am a bit of a cake connisseur! There' are... More

The castle was closed when we arrived so had lunch in the cafe and walked around the walled garden . There are apple , plum , pear trees , and flowers , vegetable plantations . It's a chilled out visit for a few hours walking around the gardens with nicely cut lawns . Glasshouse closed . Also shop with antiques... More

Went here to visit the walled garden. Was well worth it. What a hidden gem it is. The colour and flowers are amazing. Has so many different sections and they all look great and planted well. Will definitely be back again.

We were staying at Water's Edge bed and breakfast very close by and it was suggested we came here. We spent a lovely afternoon in the beautiful well cared gardens. There is a respectable tea room and close by is an interesting antique shop. Not very big but full of goodies which is a delight. In England you have egg... More

Magic, beautifully kept walled garden with walkways & a multitude of different secret areas. Great visit for the non - gardener as well as those who know their shrubs. Afterwards or before enjoy lovely food in the restaurant.

visited with another couple to the festival itself which was quite expensive (15 pounds each) to enter and stayed for the outdoor concert later that night another 28 pounds. The festival itself was well organized with lots of family events and pipe bands, strong man competitions. The concert itself was absolutely fantastic with local group The Logues and Andrew strong...
