Beautiful walks, red squirrels, warm and welcoming village gastro pub Mary McBrides and Cushendun’s wide sandy beach, looking out to the Mull of Kintyre across the Irish Sea.

A lovely coastal drive from Carnlough village. A small assortment of shops and cafes. Excellent parking, beautiful scenery. What’s not to like this this beautiful, well presented village.

yes it is largely a holiday village now but nevertheless the river side, sea views and a gentle lunch are an excellent way to spend a couple of hours.

When and if travelling glens of Antrim be sure and stop off in the lovely sleepy wee village of Cushendun. Very relaxing shops pubs restaurant's guesthouses etc.
