Completely over run with tourists sadly. I cannot imagine why as when I was a child it was not known! Go out of season.

Ok so yes we came here as it was used for filming the Game of Thrones' Iron Islands! And you can see why; it's a lot of shades of grey, where we recognised the harbour and Theon's place of 'baptism' immediately. But what a surprising...More

An old fishing harbour formed mostly from limestone on the beautiful Antrim Coast Road route. Follow the twisty road down to the harbour and coffee shop. Can be very busy during summer and weekend afternoons. Follow the coast path to the left around to White...More

We have visited Ballintoy Harbour many times and it is beautiful. Make sure you have time for the cafe - the cakes/puddings which are exceptional. We watched Game of Thrones reenactments which was highly entertaining. Stunning location.

The views are great and the little cafe is charming! The cake really is excellent! Worth a visit. Although there isn't a great deal to do it's an hour well spent.

We visited here with family and it was very pleasant. There wasn't loads to do other than look at the view and visit the onsite cafe. There was a game of thrones tour at the beach, which looks to becoming more popular - so if...More

Visited for a quick 30mins and stayed for over two hours! Fascinating scenery, exploring the rocks, watching 'game of thrones' tours and chatting with people from all over! A cuppa if you want it in the coffee shop or bring your own. Fantastic day and...More

No tour taken - not needed if you do any research. Spend as long - or as little - a time as you want. Walking and looking and relaxing are difficult to quantify. I can imagine some spending 5 minutes, taking photo and... More
