It's a bit overpriced for a walk that takes 10-15 seconds over an extended rope bridge . Minor thrills really . There's a ten to 15 minute walk from the car park to rope bridge and then a queue . Could be 30 mins depending...More

Not suitable for someone who is afraid of heights or with vertigo syndromes. Photographers will love and jump at the vast opportunities for landscape photography. Plan on a sunny day so that you can have fantastic views. It's quite a walk to the bridge and...More

I first visited Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge about sixty years ago, when, as a wee lad of about seven, was taken by my dad across the bridge. My dad had had Polio as a child, and, as a result of this, was lame. He was very...More

Great walk to the bridge with kids. Good distance (about 1k) for young kids and brilliant scenery along the way. Additional cliff top walks for those with the appetite. Great

Lovely walk along the coastline to get to the bridge, some beautiful scenery, a bit of a trek with steep hills and steps but it's the only way to get to the bridge. Waited about 10 minutes to get across, it was quite busy but...More

The rope bridge itself maybe fairly short, but it is fairly unique and absolutely spectacular. The scenic walk down the bridge serves to heighten expectation and the Carrick outcrop after traversal is as good as the bridge itself. We were blessed with wonderful blue skies...More

Beautiful coastal walk to a well organised walk across a rope bridge. A small wait whilst one half come across and then your half gets to go. We went on Bank holiday and even though quite busy still didn't have a long wait. The views...More

A long walk in followed by a long lineup for a very short crossing on a pretty stable rope bridge. I expected more excitement and "bang for my buck"...like the Capilano Suspension Bridge in British Columbia. I'd recommend skipping the Carrick-A-Rede version and heading straight...More

This is one of the attractions we were most looking forward to in Northern Ireland. The day we went was a perfect weather day and the crowds reflected that. We waited in line to buy tickets for about 45minutes. The sign says that it is...More

It is super easy. The audio guide takes you outside and down the path to the different areas of the Cause Way. It goes through all the different formations etc. Not sure about driving as I went via Belfast. The Rope Bridge... More

There is no time limit, although they do control how many people go across the bridge at a time. When we were there part of the island was closed off because of the nesting birds, and there has been some erosion. It is more... More
