Still worth the visit despite works going on. Arrived to do the Warehouse Tour at £7.50 and decided to do the free virtual tour before. We were shown a short video of the processes and talked through it with one of the guides, Jim, who was very good. We were given a free dram, so it's definitely worth the time!... More

My wife booked us onto a tasting session at Arran distillery, for the two of us. We turned up 40 minutes early and famished from a morning walk. It was such a welcome surprise to find an amazing cafe serving awesome food for our lunch. The platter and special Gaelic coffee was immense! All the staff were wonderfully welcoming and... More

I came here as a non-whisky drinker and left with second thoughts! The distillery is located in the pretty coastal town of Lochranza and is surrounded by hills, with the sea very close by. The tours and tastings are very informative and well organised and our leader was particularly knowledgeable and passionate about whisky, which encouraged me to give Arran... More

my husband is a little bit of a malt whiskey lover and the distillery was on the top of our places to see and we weren't disappointed....tour was very informative and guide very knowledgeable ...I personally don't like whiskey but I did enjoy the experience

Great place to learn about the whiskey making process and have a little tipple. Cafe and shop to enjoy as well.

Today, I travelled to the Distillery to buy 2 bottles of a Limited Release whisky. I arrived at the distillery 1 hour before opening time to obtain two of the remaining 22 bottles. The manageress Faye, invited us into the cafe to wait and gave us a coffee. Once I bought the whisky I took a tour which was personal... More

I took the distillery tour which I found very interesting and informative. The guide was very knowledgable and very easy to understand. I now have the answer to the many questions I had about malt whiskies. The staff in the shop were very helpful and accommodating while the person in the "Tasting Room" was extremely helpful and generous and guided... More

Distillery a great place to visit, certainly; not to be missed. But the coffee shop upstairs leaves much to be desired. Food and staff as good as anywhere else, but the major problem is that you can't see anything. The position of the windows is ridiculous, in terms of view and angle. The glass reflects off the tables, so there... More

Visiting on a motorbike, so no tasting. The tour was easy to book, very friendly staff. Tour started an hour later, so I had some time to try the café. Good selection! The tour itself was very informative, obviously they get a lot of visitors. Only thing which was not included was a warehouse visit. The shop is well stocked... More
