Not huge exhibition space, but ok for a half hour visit.

Not very excited by the reviews, but went for a look on a cold Saturday to pass a little time and keep a 3 year old happy. The foyer is huge in proportion to the exhibition space... read more

Other than the small exhibit about sweets which occupied a space in front of me (which was interesting) there really wasn’t anything else. He explained there was a reference... More

this was a look back over a century or so. It brings back memories of childhood, it also is very educational about the past history of the surrounding area, the steel works, mining, sweet making. It has plenty to see and interact with. A good day out for the family for free.

When they have exhibitions they really excel, recently I attended one on First World War nurses and found there was a picture of my great aunt they gave me their information picture. They also had an exhibition about places in North Lannarkshire, there were lots of old pictures of the towns with small blogs of information about them, great reminder... More

Not very excited by the reviews, but went for a look on a cold Saturday to pass a little time and keep a 3 year old happy. The foyer is huge in proportion to the exhibition space downstairs, and there is a few chairs and a coffee machine and sweet/crisp machine. The exhibition on at the time was of volunteer... More

My family used to love this place and were frequent visitors because of the fantastic facilities for everyone and the interesting objects on exhibition for all tastes. Took my niece recently what a disappointment nothing to do or see and very few exhibits what happened you took away a great day out from Motherwell what were you thinking ?

With 2 boys that have a large collection of Lego we could have made a better display !! Only around 5 models of not very interesting things . The posters look fab & Lego photo booth & gift shop. Alough it's free don't waste your time . I'm Embarrassed for the staff

Agree with the previous reviews on the "Lego exhibition" my 8 year who is a Lego enthusiast left quite upset. Looks like more was spent on the advertising than the exhibition itself :(
